It’s a BOY!

Baby Ezekiel born early into the New Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Jan. 1, 2019) – Lutheran Health Network is happy to announce that the first baby born at one of its Fort Wayne facilities in 2019 arrived Tuesday at 12:14 a.m. Ezekiel is the son of Matt and Ashley. He weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long at the time of birth. Mother and child are doing well.

For the safety and privacy of baby Ezekiel and his parents, and to remain consistent with ongoing guidance from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the exact hospital where he was born, last names and the family’s hometown will not be released. While no access to the family will be granted, a photo of Ezekiel is being provided along with this news release.

Dupont and Lutheran hospitals do not endorse, nor do they participate in, third-party New Year’s Baby promotions.  Please refer questions about this policy to the community relations department.
