Five Providers Latest to Join Lutheran Health Physicians

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Sept. 16, 2020) – Five providers specializing in the areas of family medicine, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, gastroenterology and neurointerventional surgery are the most recent to join the Lutheran Health Physicians team.

 

Porcha Leggett, MD, Family Medicine

Porcha Leggett, MD, is a primary care physician who cares for men, women and children of all ages. She provides preventive and chronic care, and also treats various acute illnesses. Dr. Leggett earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica and later completed a family medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Jason Rodriguez, MD, Electrophysiology

Jason Rodriguez, MD, is a member of the Lutheran Health Physicians cardiac electrophysiology team. Dr. Rodriguez specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the heart’s electrical system, which can cause the heart to beat too slow, too fast or irregularly.

Laura Thomas, NP, Advanced Heart Failure

Kelsey Williams, FNP-BC, joined Lutheran Health Physicians after working as a registered nurse in an emergency care setting at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner on the gastroenterology team, she diagnoses and treats patients suffering from various digestive conditions.

Tyler Warnecke, PA-C, Neurointerventional Surgery

Tyler Warnecke, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who cares for patients with various cerebrovascular disorders in the brain, neck and spine. As a member of the Lutheran Health Physicians neurointerventional surgery team, Warnecke assists surgeons with procedures related to brain aneurysms, head and neck bleeding, carotid stenosis or stroke.
